Which online schools in India cover Nursery to Class 10?
Eleven of the 35 online schools we track span Nursery to Class 10 or beyond, including Cyboard, 21K School, Vikalp, The Class of One and SS International. Many advertised “Nursery to 12” schools start at LKG or Class 1.
Which schools genuinely span the full range?
Grade span is the first filter most families should apply and the one most listicles skip. A school that starts at Class 1 is no use for a four-year-old, and one that stops at Class 8 means switching again just as boards begin. These spans were checked against each school’s own published pages in August 2026.

K8 School is the near-miss worth naming: it runs Nursery–Grade 8, so it covers the early years but stops two grades short of the boards. It is excluded from the nine above for that reason.
Which ones do not, despite the marketing?
Several well-known names cannot serve a Nursery-to-Class-10 family at all. StayQrious runs Grades III–VIII only, in live pods capped at eight learners. Crimson Global Academy starts at Grade 6, King’s InterHigh at roughly age 7, and Delhi Model Virtual School and Skola only open at Class 9. K12 School India begins at LKG rather than Nursery — a one-year gap that matters if you are starting at three.

Sumithra Pai, reviewing The Class of One on Ezyschooling in March 2024. Reviews at this end of the market are thin, so weigh them accordingly: Cyboard’s headline Google rating is 4.4/5, with no review count exposed in our 20 August 2026 check; Ezyschooling separately shows 4.9/5 from nine verified reviews. 21K School carries 2.56/5 from 474 MouthShut votes — a much larger and much less flattering sample.
What to check before committing to a full-span school
- Whether the board route changes mid-way — several schools teach their own curriculum to Class 8, then register students with NIOS or Cambridge as private candidates.
- Whether fees jump at Class 9. Cyboard rises from ₹64,100 at Classes VI–VIII to ₹76,700 at Class IX.
- Whether the school is actually affiliated where it claims: CBSE’s SARAS directory lists 33,151 affiliated institutions and is searchable by name.
- Is a single school for Nursery to Class 10 better than switching?
- It removes admission friction, but locks you in early. Where a school teaches its own curriculum before Class 9 and then uses NIOS, the certificate comes from NIOS regardless — so continuity matters less than it appears.
- Why do published grade spans disagree with listing sites?
- Schools add and drop grades between academic years and update their own pages first. Confirm the specific grade has a running batch this session, not just a page on the website.
- Which is the cheapest full-span option?
- Of the schools with published per-grade fees, Cyboard is lowest at entry: ₹44,900 for Nursery–UKG, rising to ₹81,800 at Class X.
