Rishi Valley School is an alternate school serving families in India. The oldest Krishnamurti Foundation India school, founded in 1926 on a 375-acre valley campus in Andhra Pradesh, running a largely exam-free curriculum to Class 8 before ICSE and ISC. It teaches the ICSE · ISC (CISCE) curriculum across class 4–12, with accreditation or pathway listed as CISCE — ICSE in Class 10, ISC in Class 12.
At ₹8,75,000 a year before a one-year refundable caution deposit, this is among the most expensive schools in the directory — and the school itself states on its admissions page that fee increases "have made the institution less accessible to middle-class families". Its own brochure also warns that "not all children flourish in this system", naming children who need constant prodding. The campus is about 16 km from the nearest town, term visits are capped at one three-day guest-house stay, and independent review volume is thin and dated.
